I usually shrimp the bay out of Buck Hall, but decided I would try the south side today, you know, shorter drive, free parking…but NO shrimp. Not one. Several boats in the area, but no one seemed to be doing anything. I ran straight out towards the north tip of Bull Island, set up in about 4 ft. at low tide. Water was really clear, was hoping that would change when the tide started comming in good, but it didn’t. Guess I’ll be going back to the north from now on, its been a long time since I was blanked! Lot of people getting skunked this year. We got skunked opening night, but there were millions of worms in the water. (i blame the worms

That clear water in daylight will really hurt the count… I have been 3 times this year all at night and I believe the count is just better at night. a lot of the veriables are removed by going at night.
