South end of Bulls Bay

Hit Garris landing @ 8am with my wife and 8yo son , arrived in the bay and set poles , Dropped anchor for an hour or so making bait. Dropped bait in and start running the poles. 1st throw pulled 10 jumbos. My wife couldn’t believe her eyes on the size of these. Filled about 1/3 of the cooler and Flipper should up on our bait. So we decided to call it a day. I think we did pretty good for 1st timers…

Yep, that is a frame-worthy photo.

If you’re lucky enough to be fishing, you’re lucky enough.

Keep an eye on that boy for “Shrimp Fever”

Good for you, nothing beats family shrimping. My 7yr old asked for a kid’s size cast net for last Christmas, and caught his first 12 last weekend. So yes beware of the “shrimp fever”

Oh yes, he has the fever, He has his own 6ft net that he throws like a champ. We have gone 3 or 4 times last year and 3 times this year (in the harbor and White Pines),this was our 1st trip to BB . If I go he goes , there is no going without him, I wouldn’t have any other way. It is such a joy he and I learning this together. I am 51 and he is my fishing , shrimping and crabbing partner… . .
