Looking to go for Spanish this weekend for the first time in a few years. Don’t get to go out fishing much anymore. Debating on trolling outside the jetties and shipping channel, or off the beach down towards folly. Anyone seeing any schools in those areas lately? Thanks
I’m with Bishop. Never trolled for Spanish or Blues before. Don’t know what lures/spoons to use, general location for trolling and what speed? Is it decent off of Folly or anywhere in the Harbor? I did a search and this thread popped up from last week so I figured I’d post here and see if it’ll gain some traction

I troll Clark spoons and a small bird that I got somewhere with a bunch of small hooks trailing behind it. It was marketed as a Spanish Mackerel lure. I think it is pink. Use lighter tackle. I’m in MI so can’t help you out with Charleston area, but I usually do well between the jetties and the mile marker.
Wound up going out Sunday and did well trolling Clark spoons. Had a few different spoons in the spread along with a deep diver crystal minnow, only had luck on the clarks. Decent sized Spanish, no blues.
Harbor, beach or jetties?
