Must be close to spawning season. All the trout I caught were big ones. 4 18in+. I caught one small one on a DOA and a 16in Red on a swim jig.
Water 72, clear 3 ft. Main channel points close to deep water. Nothing on top water :frowning:

Let me be the first to critique you on the way you’re holding that trout. You’re doing it wrong. You should hold some part of its body. I hope you checked it for concussions before you released it.

Tks Sman. I use it to untangle a braid’s knot. Works like a charm.

Please explain the knot thing.Sometimes my braid gets tangled up when I load too much on my spinning reels.

What’s the chapstick knot trick?

The chapstick trick is when you get a wind knot in your braided line, all you have to do is lubricate the knot with chapstick. You can then pull the knot out 90% of the time.
