JL audio is tops but I’ll second the Infinity Kappa speakers. Durable and decent sound quality especially with an amp. Polyplanar makes OK speakers too. I’d stay away from the Clarion and Sony stuff. They make great head units but they’re behind in the speaker category.
The Bose marine speakers are good and durable.
I liked the MTX 7.5. great sound and reasonable price. Also had the MTX marine amp.

X2, no problem with mine and they put out.
I’ve had 6.5" infinity kappa’s for 5 years now, still sound great. Boat is garage-kept which has added to their life.

A long long slow walk in the spartina gives you time to think big thoughts and put your mind back into order.

Cant say for a boat, but I’ve been using Rockford Fosgates in my trucks for the past 3-4 years now and love them. Also have heard Infinity’s in a Dodge and they sound amazing
