Figure the condtions will be just right for spot fishing just past the ‘breakers’ on Saturday.
Always heard the “rougher the better for the spot bite”…
Anyone else going?
Sat. will be perfect…
I’m tired of being told that I have to “spread the wealth” to people who don’t have my work ethic. I’m tired of being told the government will take the money I earned, by force if necessary, and give it to people too lazy to earn it. I think I’m going fishing…!!
Drop and reel just outside the MI jetties this weekend. Load up the cooler in no time. Make it worth your while by putting three hooks on.
3 mile may be better tie up to the bouy and load the boat sorry i can not make it
Bubba can we go Fishing?? Can I drive the boat
Ya’ll aren’t as funny as you think…keep on…we need new fisherman too… that spot fishing may lead them to bigger things…Why don’t you tie up at three mile this weekend… doubt you’d take the blame if they followed your advice. and don’t lecture on how they should know better. Thats one of the purposes of forums like this. To give HELPFUL advice. I know I wouldn’t recommend snyone chartering with a guide that has these kind of attitudes. I started fishing in a farm pond for bream that were barely 4"…Don’t do that much now, but I’ll sure take the kids there soon enough to give them an introduction to fishing.
A spot fisherman has spoken.
toddn, they are just pokin fun…no harm meant, just a few guys that know each other really well havin fun with each other.

Well then, they’ll be missing out on a chance to go with one of the better charters in MI. One that likes to have fun and enjoys taking kids.

toddn,
If you leave a nerve exposed some of these guys won’t pass up a chance to get on it but it’s all in fun. Just fall in and read the posts, you’ll pick up some good info. I have fished all my life, saltwater and fresh and I’ve learned a lot from these guys.
Spot fishing is an annual joke on this site. If you’ll go to the piers in the next few weeks you’ll see why.
I’d rather fish than eat.
