Took kayaks from McClellanville down waterway via my 19’center console yesterday morning. Was able to let them ride in the sides by the console. Got out on flats beside icw in Awendaw creek area and on down to Prices. Between two of us caught 11 nice fish on free lined mud minnows and gold spoons. A kayak is the ultimaate flats boat. We were literally on top of hundreds of fish in large schools.
I took mine our yesterday and paddled to lighthouse inlet from folly landing, hoping to see some spottails. I came back thru the oyster beds and never saw a one.
