Is anyone willing to share some good spots around Charleston harbor to try cast netting for shrimp to use as bait?
You can usually find small pods of Shrimp on the Sullivan’s side of Breech Inlet.
You can catch Tiger Minnows, for bait, on the IOP side. Go at low tide, and look in the ditches left by the outgoing tide.
Welcome back to the site, and keep us posted on your adventures!!
Welcome back.
Drive around out there until you see the pile of boats playing musical chairs… you can’t miss em. Then just go slip in line and play nice. Take a cooler and some beers, hopefully youll need both
Sorry, I was assuming PJ1 was boatless…??
Thanks, I have a boat. Just need to do a better job catching fish in it!
Cool! Try trolling the edges of the creeks, and grassy areas, on the high tide.
If you’re not seeing Shrimp in your prop wash move.
They should be dancing in the prop wash, if they’re there.
Shrimp survive by hiding the grass.
