I haven’t purposely fished for them in 40 years, but lately have been foundly recalling the spot runs of my youth and the big fish fry afterwards.It seems that the Grand Strand piers were the “go to” places for the spots, but are there also inshore places in the Charleston area to catch them from a boat? Also, when will they show up? If I hear they’re biting, can I count on them still being there when I make a trip from upstate?
