Caught 7 today, 1 o/s at 24", 1@ 21", and the rest between 15-18". The two bigger ones were caught on e.c. tipped with a minnow (much fun).
Paddled way back in creek and seen a lot of bait and some big wakes… I mean really big. I threw my lines out and did get a double, but no big ones. I also visually seen 1/2 dozen smaller ones. They are feeding and moving quick (They don’t know its winter:)

got 2 today, but we missed 1/2 a dozen. Found them tailing and “acting up” but no bites
yes it was nice today, not near as much fun as when the rod is doubled over from a 20 incher but still fun. i have got to get over setting the hook with those circle hooks. i think i might just take scotts advice and go back to J hooks and snatch their lips off

We went out on Saturday…his boots didn’t seem to work to well…he landed a small black drum and I lost a fish near the yak. It wasn’t like we didn’t try…we didn’t stop ■■■■■■■■■■■ to the landing) until 6pm. Thinking about going back to some of my spots…I seem to caught a lot more fish there:slightly_smiling_face:
