Spotted at the Charleston airport

Upon landing recently I saw three Harriers and two A-10 Warthogs. These were at what looked like a private facility that said “Atlantic” something on it. They were not on or near the C-17 flightline.

Is this some sort of private repair contractor for the DOD?

Probably transient parking. You can’t park the little guys on the ramp next to the big boys or they might get run over. I bet they are just passing through and had to find a place to park. It’s a pretty common occurrence, I’m sure.

This company has been around for years-don’t know if they work on military planes.

Oh No[:0]

Yes, the Soviets may be monitoring this board to track US military aircraft movements!

Or they could just fly in on US Air and check it out themselves.

It was a cool thing to see, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Harrier in person.
