I went to visit family north of Atlanta last weekend. My brother has those rivers figured out!
We waded through the river about 2 miles and every turn of the creek revealed another hole that held fish. We caught easily over 30 fish and sent them all back healthy. Caught them all on ned rigs with TRD minnowz, finesse and crawz until the last area under a bridge that was deep and wide. I broke out the zara spook and got one in the river on top. It was quite an experience.
These fish were aggressive and unpressured. Crawfish were plentiful in the creek along with small bait fish. Not that it matters here, just figured you’d be interested.
I got a quick video here, https://imgur.com/gallery/2NaCp9h
These two were the biggest
Caught this one and the crawdad was hanging out of his throat.
