Spreader light question. (LED)

Has anyone changed out the H3 55 watt halogen bulbs to the LED replacements? I have to replace my lights on my T top (old and glass is cracked out) and I can’t really justify the $150+ cost of the LED lights. I hardly use them but I would like to have less current draw when I do. I don’t care if they are brighter, just as long as the LED’s aren’t too much less. The LED buld replacements are pretty cheap on eBay. ??? Is it worth doing?

Being superstitious is bad luck.

I purchased a conversion “bulb” from here: http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/index.cgi?action=DispPage&Page2Disp=%2Ftail-brake-turn.html

Because of the size restrictions inside the spreader light housing I actually lost some light output because of the size of the LED’s I could install. However, it is more than enough light and for about $15 and 10 minutes of labor I figured it was worth a shot. Been using it for over two years and no issues so far. For me it worked well. Also replaced the bulbs in all of my nav lights as well…they also have been working great.
