I don’t see why not… give it a shot and if it works you’ll be rewarded. There have been times when I’ve tried things that I thought wouldn’t work and man… it’s an endorphin rush when it does work out.

We caught a couple today in the Cooper above Bushy Park…15.5" and 13.5"…both released but fun. Couldn’t get a bite on the reds or flounder but it was a beautiful day.

The water temp in the Cooper around Bushy Park yesterday (2-18) was right at 55. The trout were caught on Gulp shrimp on or near the bottom. We did not see any bait is any of the creeks we fished and not one school of redfish. We got 2 bites in 4 hours and caught 2 fish. It was nice to see the trout though…very encouraging.
