I replaced the springs on my fresh water double axil traier today! Thaught it would be a 2 hr. job with my bobcat with forks and a rattle wrench! Big mistake! thaught the nuts would come off easely, no way, ended up taking a side grinder and cutting them off and making a 35 mile drive at 4:30 to buy new u bolts and hanger bolts another $63.00! Heads up to any one trying this!! go ahead and get the U bolts and hanger bolts when buying the springs
Not sure where you are buying your hardware, but you can get stainless u-bolts & other hardware from Seel’s for cheaper then that. I’ve also bought springs from Iron Knight trailers off of Rivers.
