The teasers I use gets a rip in the head of the squid where the line goes through. Is there anything you can do to keep this from happening or is there a squid teaser made that is more durable? Thanks
i use 400 lb mono and that has stoppped the tearing, unless something is chewing on them.
Like Gut Wrench said, I also put 400# mono on all the ones we rig in house. On the leading squid closest to the rigger I put a 1oz sinker inside (helps keep that front squid in the water), and a 1/2oz egg sinker in the other trailing squid. The sinkers will also help prevent tearing of the squid. Feel free to swing by the shop anytime if I can help you with one or show you the ones I rig here in house.

Agreed with Gut and Scott, Mike Jr at Haddrells in Mt P rigged mine like that, it works great and no tearing problems…
Use moldcraft, there are some others out there that may look good but are too soft to stand up to the chewing. Egg sinker helps it stand up to the seas against the crimp, so will a glow bead if you don’t like the weight.
If you got time to lean, you got time to clean.
