Left My dock at 8am knowing the wind was going to be a ***** all day.Decided to stay close to home and fish the Stono River area heading South. We had plenty of minnows and crabs and went looking for what ever was hungry. We did catch a few trout in the 13 inch range and one 3 foot bonnet head.At one time the wind had to hit 25-30 mph.Went into Church Creek and still no place to hide from that blow.Had a great crew and had some good laughs however it was cold and windy.I decided next time I read a 15-20 wind blow I will just turn on the TV and watch a movie.SRFC weigh in was pretty good with some nice Cooper River fish turned in.I think 20 members signed in.Want to get out next week and fish again just want better weather. These old bones were very tied after that trip.
That was rose stirring the weather pot as you were fishing on her birthday! Lol. Please tell Rose Donnie andI said happy happy belated birthday! I worked a twelve yesterday…one more week of day shift then back to nights! Woohooo
