Went out at high tide Friday morning, about 10:00 am. Set up where I usually do on the mud flat coming from the Edisto side. Water was not as muddy as I like, but it was a beautiful day so we gave it a try. Shrimp were very small and few in numbers. There were two other boats out there and they were not doing well either. Later that day I saw a lot of other boats heading our to the flat to try their luck as the sun was going down, I would love to know how they did.
Pretty late in the season for such small shrimp out in the sound, I hope some larger shrimp move in before the season ends.
