Decided to give it a try today. Went out in st Helena sound by Morgan island about 3 hours before sunset catching a rising tide. Wind was a bit strong especially being out of the south East. I usually set up out past the island on a mud flat, but not with today’s wind. I had to settle for setting up along Morgan where it was a bit calmer.
shrimp were not there today. Ran the poles before and after sunset. Averaged 1 shrimp per throw.
Only saw one other boat and they did not stay put long either.
I guess the lack of shrimp and wind explains why I was the only vehicle at the boat landing when I got back.
At least the sunset was nice.
Went there this morning. Same thing. Thanks for the report.
