Went out this morning, low tide at 8:45ish, got there about 9:00. Set up in 3’ and put out bait on 2 poles. It took 45 minutes and another foot of water over the bait, but they showed up thick. The spotty cloud cover helped and we caught em up quick for the next 5 or 6 passes. Then the tide stopped running and so did the shrimp. We ended up with little better than half a cooler of mostly medium shrimp after we picked through the 1000 or so salad shrimp. Oh well, great to be on the water and I’ll give them a couple more weeks to grow up.
