Anyone know of traffic in St Louis? I’m going out there for some training and would like to stay more in town, but the class is in Clayton.
It looks as if I’d probably go down I-64 to Forest Park Ave to get to the Knight Executive Education center. It says 15 minutes, but I don’t want it to be an Atlanta 15 minutes and end up taking an hour.
do you have a smartphone? if so then download a traffic app…will show you red, yellow and green for traffic on all interstates, highways and most big secondary roads…
Google maps will do that too I think but for the current time only as far as I can tell? Does the traffic app let you look at other times of day I guess?
Thanks for the reply! Didn’t think I’d get any hits really on this topic.
yea, I use Google maps too…and you are right, it is only current conditions…but I also just noticed that the latest update of the Droid Navigation app now shows triangles for “incidents” and the red circle with the line through it for “road closures”…looks like this is getting a little closer to what you are looking for, able to anticipate traffic issues in advance…
