St Patty's Day dragging & droppping

Straight out the channel to 170’ to troll in search of…

Found a large area of little tunny busting.
Had to humor ourselves after such a grueling ride out!
Drone spoons could not be ignored by them.
Birds kept us informed of their where-abouts.
Wore us out.

No joy pulling bigger baits @ 10 kts along the ledge.

Came back in to 100’ for some groceries.
Good size orange, black & pink. Smallish gray.
Only a single: AJ and shark!
Cigars, sardines and squid.
Best bite once the current picked up.

good report DG…

Yeah that ride out yesterday was rough

Thanks for the report sounds like an awesome day. We fished in 80 feet south. Got some nice blackfish, etc… Water temp was 64 to 65 degrees.

Dang sharp nose punked us good! Awesome day on the water though

Glad you had a good day Dave. Hoping to get out there with you one of these days.

Thanks for the report. Glad someone got out there. It’s about that time.

Sounds like our day. We went to the gt hole, trolled for 5 hours with nothing to show from 700 to 200. Went in to 120 and filled up on triggers, vermilion and bsb. Got itchy and jumped too soon. Turkey time for a few weeks…
