Sta-Bil Is EXPENSIVE!

OMG – I went to West Marine to get some of the blue stuff. I went with the idea of, “I might pick up a case while I’m there.” Yeah, right. Maybe if I win the freakin’ lottery.

$29.99 for the 32oz. bottle. Needless to say, I purchased one bottle.

The good thing is that I discovered that the “dock gas” on Wateree is E-free. SWEET! So, I figure if I keep a full tank, I’ll not have the condensation/water problems anymore.

I must say, after I put 8oz of Sta-bil in and topped off the tank, I didn’t have the engine shutter/knock at 600 RPM’s.

Need to run ringfree in that Yamaha. LOTS of mechanics that have nothing to gain promoting it have said VERY good things about ringfree. It will save you big bucks in the long run.

If you can’t fix it with a hammer, you’ve got an electrical problem.

I have over 1400 problem free hrs on my '05 motor, and I have always used ringfree and startron. I’m not saying that those treatments are the save all, but so far so good. Yes, they are not free, but it beats the possible shop bill…

thats was what I was thinking but 32 oz treats 320 gallons so it adds an extra 10 cents per gallon..doesn't sound as bad that way:wink:
