Stainless prop for trade

This prop was on a Johnson 175, I purchased to install on a project bote.

Turned out to be too much pitch. It was sent to my local prop shop, and repaired, for a couple of dings, and hub inspection.

I didn’t pay the extra $ to polish the blades.

Minor ding, or two, from being shuffled from one shelf to another, over the years.

Raker #394755 14 1/2x24

Prices on ebay are around $230.00 on the high end, to $170.00 on the low end.

Looking to trade for fishing stuff.

I’d have liked to run that one on an old Glitter boat I had… I love a raker prop. That one new back in the day would have been around 600-700$ That’s a top end speed prop.

It is definitely a high speed prop.

Just posting it here for trade, in case anyone can use it.

Nice prop for cheap!

I recently came across a brass prop. Are there people still using them or are they strictly décor type stuff now?

I didn’t put that fancy e in décor. I don’t know what that’s about…

Brass props from what little I know about em are mostly for low speed high torque applications in today’s use, like sail boats… and yes many have been turned into DECOR… Décor :slightly_smiling_face:

Back to the raker prop, had a stratus running a 22" pitch raker… GPS 86mph @ 6400rpm, dammm steering torque was ridiculous. No hyd steering. swapped to a 4 blade, lost 10mph but steering torque and hole shot was much better.

Good luck on the sale or trade mixed nutz.

Prop is gone.

Good luck Carter!

Hope it serves you well.

Thanks. Appreciate it.
