One week ago today we lost a good friend.
Tommorow there will be a Memorial Service on the Charleston Air Force Base from 0900-1030. It is a time to share in memories of Stan and honor him with his family and friends. Stan touched many lives. If you plan to attend please go to Stans (Stan Arnold JR)face book page and pm Joey Mullins so that your name will be added to the guest book/list at the gate.
Also…Sunday there will be a “gathering of friends” to “sit a spell” for Stan at one of his favorite places…the Wappoo Cut . 3pm till…bring chairs and snacks …
CaptEd has also made a special memorial reef cylinder in honor of Stan…if you would like to write a note or bring a small memento to put in it please do! Donnie said he’s going to put a piece of nicorette gum in it because Stan always teased him about quiting smoking but still chewing the gum even after three years:smiley:,says this way he’ll at least give up one piece of gum for Stan…lol
Really hope ya’ll make it by…even if only to say hello and sign the family card or put s memento in Stans “treasure chest” which we will put on a reef in his memory.
Stan will never be gone as long as we keep him in our hearts and memories.
