Hope someone can help me. When i key the mic i get the “lo battery” displayed on the screen. Had it happen last year but I contributed it to needing new batteries. Finally got the boat in the water this year with 2 new batteries, same problem. The radio is linked into my HDS 8. Any suggestions?

Make sure all of your connections are corrosion free. Check the fuse for corrosion as well.
Do you have it connected directly to the battery or is there any switches in the circuit? I connected my gx1700 directly to the battery in case I needed the dsc.

Have you hooked a meter to the batteries to check voltage? I would be concerned about alt. function.
