Buddy has an F150 (think its early 2000’s model) that will fire right up when cold. After you run the boat for 10 or so minutes and shut it off it will act like the battery is almost dead. Let it sit a few minutes and it goes back to firing right up. Cleaned all the connections for the starter and battery connections, but the problem still persists. The volt meter is saying the starter is getting 12V as well. Any ideas?
I replaced a starter solenoid relay on 2000 115 yamaha couple years ago that fixed similar problem you are having. Hope it helps!

“Come follow me.” Jesus said “I will make you a fisher of men.”
Matthew 4:19
volts and amps are 2 very different thing
you may have the 12 volts, but not enough amp to do any work
Gotcha I am somewhat handy, just not to familiar with electrical stuff. Guess I will be looking up some youtube videos to make sure I am testing it correctly!! Thanks for the input and any advice on how to test it is appreciated!
