How goes it everybody? Just wondering if anybody has any info on the state parks near Charleston(Hunting Island, Edisto Beach, Huntington Beach) I did some research on the state parks website but the fishing info is pretty limited. Anybody ever heard anything about which park has the best fishing, Im looking for a variety of styles( surf, lagonn, creeks) which they all seem to offer. Any info would be great, thans yalllllll. Matt
Edisto state park has great surf fishing, lots of whiting along with others depending on time of year. And if you walk down the beach there is an inlet to a creek that has pretty good fishing too. All the State parks you mention are good, I just know Edisto from experience.
Thank you very much dude, appreciate it
Hunting Island is an amazing place but it’s almost always crowded as heck.
Check out Botany Bay - it’s not a park per se, and schedule for access can be a little tricky to figure out but it’s definitely more off the beaten path and has some great surf fishing if you’re willing to work for it.
