Has anybody built one of these steel truss pole barns? They seem really popular down in Florida but I haven’t really seen any in the Charleston area. Most are wind rated to 140 mph. I’ve been looking at a 24x24 garage for boat storage and have gotten some crazy quotes for a stick framed building ($30,000.00 without power).

I had a 30 by 36 installed by Armour metal out of Augusta. It was around $4,300.00 for the kit, installed was $6,300.00. Only problem at that time was their mechanical drawings were not rated but up to 110 mph winds. Might want to check them out, they have a good selection of kits.
