Step Two IV June 8...

Second trip in our new 26’ CC. Put lines in 10 miles short of the SW banks, bang…barracuda. Then picked up couple nice 10 pound eating kings. Saw a bunch of sportfishers several miles ahead, when we got to them all but 2 were gone and it appeared those two were hooked up to pretty good fish because they did not move for a long time. Ran between the two boats (2-3 miles) and were attacked by ballistic dolphin. These dudes cleaned out the spread but got fooled by a couple of hooks. First one was a slinger that should have been a gaffer cause once he hit the deck all hell broke loose. Finished with 6 dolphin (up to 22 pounds) and 2 kings. All the dolphin (except one) were caught sw of the SW Banks. All of this is pretty good considering the gps/sounder has yet to be installed in the boat, using a 10 year old handheld Garmin…no temp gauge either.

Hey Mitch, thanks again for the trip. It was a great time.

I have a teaser for you and Troy that I bought a long time ago…
HOLLA…
