Anyone heard of this or ever used one? Looks pretty slick for mounting transducers, etc. when you don’t want to drill into your gelcoat.

I took a plastic cutting board from walmart $5 and cut it to size.Put waterproof silicone on one side and put 4 ss screws into the transom.Works perfect.

I put a piece of 1" thick UHMW on the transom of my boat.
5200 sealant between the plastic block and the transom and 2 Stainless Steel screws( countersunk ) to hold it in place then sealed over the screws with more 5200.
From now on, if I change tranducers the screws will only penetrate into the plastic and not the fiberglass.
