Stick It and others anchor system

anyone know were these guys went? website is gone…

I’ve been trying to get an anchor/pin from lowcountrynachor guys for nearly two months. I thought we had everything worked out beginning of April but they stopped responding to emails. Nothing for over a month… Sucks, really like the look and price of their product.

Two of those (transom & bow) would be the ultimate for one-pole shrimping IMO.

Hey everyone sorry if you’ve had trouble placing orders with us lately. We’ve been out of town and had to go on a brief hiatus here in James island. We still have several color combinations available so feel free to email us at lowcountryanchors@gmail to place an order. Price is now 60$

Have had the stick it anchor for about 2 weeks, and somebody made the comment about wondering how you have lived without it was absolutely correct. I think it was 80 bucks for the stick it anchor, mounting clips Velcro back up for the storage clips and a 3 foot lanyard and a 10 foot lanyard. Thinking about purchasing another.

I’m thinking about getting a StickIt Anchor too. How/where did you mount yours?

I use it off the back of the boat I have a 18 cc pioneer and use the three foot line that comes with it and attach it to my cleat 20 mph winds and she sat tall , very happy with them. It stores neatly on the inside wall of boat with the mounting clips that are provided. Right now I am using a Danforth out the front if I am stationary fishing and stick it out the back of boat, but I am going to pick up another one for the front as well

Would you guys suggest the 8’ or the 10’ pole?

01’ Seapro 17’CC w/ 90yamaha

10’

I made a bracket out of an old transom mount trolloing motor mount, I simply added to the shaft washer with a pc if 1/2" pvc cut length wise to build up the slack! works great with a copper ground rod bought a Lowes!

The 10’ is the way to go. This is a great inshore fishing tool! Just left the lanyard looped to the pin and tied the other end to the front cleat. When we would stop, just stuck it into the mud and did not have to retie it every time. Then pulled the pin up, wiped it off and put back between the railing and gunnel. Very convenient!

I checked this site out and believe I will try them out. I should be able to get mounting brackets for both of my boats and share the poles for under $400 where it would run over $600 just for one boat using Dig-in anchor systems…

A bad day fishing is much better than a good day at work.

I’ve got a couple like those in Fredtide’s photo. They are sturdy and well made but I admit I seldom use one. Most of the time if I’m only going to stay at a spot for a short time I use the i-pilot anchor function. Other times I use my push pole since I usually have it out and have it in my hands. I planned to use the 8 ft. pole when I needed to keep from swinging but it doesn’t happen that often. So depends on what other equipment you have and the type of fishing you do. All the above are handier than messing with an anchor though.

I plan on living forever, so far so good
