I had a Cagin and gave it away and bought a power pole.In mud i had a hell of a time pilling it up with my bad back.

Got an 8ft for like $85 from the Charleston Angler a few months back for my 19" and its great. I looked at the mouting bracket thing online but haven’t decided if I really need it or not.

It pulled loose once (slowly) in a really strong current at a sand bar, but that is probably an exception rather than a rule.
