to give a brief recap i have 2-2000 model nissan 50 carborated 2strokes one runs well the other idles 1000 rpm higher with earmuffs and misfires at idle, it idles down once in the water with back pressure. recently when i get on plane the motor in question shut off but starts back it runs good at low speeds but continuously cuts off when i try to go faster and both motors run off one tank.
I disassembled and cleaned the bottom carb(on the cylinder that is misfiring)
I did a compression test all cylinders within spec
replaced plugs and fuel water separator, checked fuel lines
switched CDI boxes between motors
Is there anything i am missing that could cause my issues? I am pretty much running out of options on a low budget and hoping not to have a wait time at a shop. Ive called dozens of shops all over the east coast and no one has heard of the my issues that wouldnt be fixed with the stuff ive done and checked. Id really appriciate anyone with any advice or recommendations.
