still skunked

Been out 3 times since the new boat was purchased at boat show and still skunked. First two times tried stono and folly creek and yesterday took 2 buds up the wando. Can’t seem to find the fish. Trying all the zman and gulp I can find. Maybe need to go into the harbor or trailer up to bushy park where I know there are fish. Any suggestions? Do I need to go to live/cut bait?

every time we go out we try artificials. throwing them all over the dam place and dont find sh*%. Its the dam rod in the holder with cut or live bait on it that always starts singing…

The fish are there. You might just need to Sloooow down. Try switching to MM under a cork or cut bait. Fish shallow at low tide. Good luck getting rid of the skunk in the boat.

A wise man once said “Do as I say not as I do” Good advice when I tell you that.

Blue crab chunks, mullet, mm…or my best this year is a small piece of mullet on a 5/0 or bigger circle hook topped with a mm…just let it sit on the bottom. Have been catching them on Gulps, but for numbers it takes the reel thing.

Ok…back to basics…

We need to start over here ok…

First…make sure there are no ''nanners on the boat …and maybe remove anything yellow for the first trip including yellow corks

Next…you have to go out into the harbor…say…mmmm…midday…
in front of the coast guard dock would be a good place…
…strip down to your boxers , preferably some bright ones or spandex tiger pattern… and start doing Zumba moves…you now the new exercise fad …then cover yourself in shaving cream …all the while singing …frosty the snowman…
Lay on your air horn. …
wave your arms…
If you do this I feel certain you will get some “action” while in your new boat. ;).

If this doesn’t work pm me and I’ll tell you a cople spots to try on your way in…

Oh yeah…tell them your name is bonzo when they ask.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^GUARANTEED to work, no need for the PM and secret fishy spots.

You may even be better off drifting Shem Creek with this ritual.

Would speedos work penfishn? I don’t wear boxers. Thanks for the replies guys. Going to try some cut bait and MM’s. Going out either Tuesday or Wed of next week, weather permitting. Get skunked a few more times and I’m bringin a rod to the aquarium. Would be happy to drag one of you guys with me if any are interested. Gas and beer on me if you put me on some fish.
