Ive been fishing the Wando for flounder and have caught several two foot long pink sting rays but no flounder
Do the Rays scare off the flounder? Im wondering if seeing them means I wont be seeing other fish around.

typically if we start catching rays or oyster toadfish we move to the next area…

I’ve been fishing an oyster bank on the Wando and catching flounder one after another, then like flipping a switch , it’s stingrays.
Time to move to another area.

When I’m out gigging we see rays in the same areas we find flounder. I think they are out there also but those (**() rays are relentless! If I find them in my fishing spots I move on also.
