I have a camo Stoeger M2000 12 ga and compact Taurus PT111 Millenium 9mm I purchased about 15 years ago that have sat in a gun safe until a couple days ago.
The Stoeger would make a good first shotgun for a duck hunter.
The Taurus has some surface rust but does not inhibit the use of the gun.

On a side note, i looked through my stuff for a 22 for you, but the one I was thinking of is an old bolt action, load one at a time rifle.
I think a 10/22 with a nice walnut stock is the route I am going to take. Once barbawang starts producing suppressers made with green bean cans out of his basement, I’ll be sniping all the pine cones I can find.
