flood all social media with descriptions of items…craigslist (put it in boats, and sporting goods), city data, make it hard for them to move your items. I did that with a stolen boat trailer and recovered it the same day.

If you were the only one with a broken in storage unit you might want to look to who knew thats where you store your stuff. Not saying close friends but other people who store stuff there. I hope you get your stuff back and may Darwin effect the thieves.
A wise man once said “Do as I say not as I do” Good advice when I tell you that.
I live Around the JI area I’ll keep a look out in some pawn shops around here and on craigslist. Only bad thing about pawn shops you have to file a police report and have get on the police to check out these locations. They will hold items for 90days if the people decide to get a loan on the items, Before they will put them out on the showcase. Ill alert some of my friends around here also. Hate that it happend to you buddy. Hope we get him/them.
did you file a police report>>>>>VERY IMPORTANT! Pawn shops get a hot list every week and do a very good job of self reporting. A police report is the only way to get anything back from a pawn shop.

Yes, Police report was filed. The gear actually belongs to a friend of mine. He keeps his boat in the slip next to me but he lives in Augusta. I’m just trying to help by getting information out to all fellow fishermen, up and down the coast.
