probably the same jerk that stole my redfish last week. I popped the leader on one and when I came back the next day to catch it again it was nowhere to be found.

The OP is being funny but, I have posted a few “found cork” posts to get people to try to think about how they rig. If the rig fails… it should be BELOW the cork. Right?

This stuff is too funny, but I guess that a little levity when fishing is slow is a good thing. To the O.P., some casting practice goes a long way towards keeping your tackle/lures out of the trees and off of the rocks.

RIP my “Puppy Dog” 10/15/2004 - 1/14/2013. Still can’t get him out of my mind. What a special friend he was.
My neighbor left his truck unlocked in his driveway with the keys hidden in the rear wheel well.
Guess what happened?
Tonight I am going to leave a twenty taped to my mailbox and check back Saturday…
ALERT!!! DolphinD is an idiot. Keep your rigs out of the trees.
Still haven’t found them! On a side note, I have misplaced some 1/8th oz jig heads and paddle tails. Last seen entering the water near some oysters. I can identify them if you think you might have found them.
Loved the stapler comment.

I found a 2010 Dodge Ram sitting at the boat ramp with the trailer in the water at the sands at port royal one day this year during the cobia run. We put in and the truck was still running and no boats in sight. After about 20 minutes, a guy in a flats boat came by the dock and asked us if it was ours. I said no, I thought it was yours! He said it was there for an hour already and no one knew where the owner was, so he was going to call the police. When we got back that afternoon, it was sitting in the parking lot, so I assumed they either got in touch with the owner, or someone just parked it for him. I guess the guy just got in a hurry and forgot to park the truck!

Both ends of most bridges in the Keys have plenty of hooks, lead and some lures hanging from the pole lines. It would be a long shot to involve a cast net up that high though. Youz guyz maybe can load up, cut two lengths of bamboo, borrow the wife’s dishwashing gloves and run down to recoup some terminal gear.
