Stolen Tackle

ALERT, someone stole my cajun thunder rigs! Fishing a creek off the Stono, I lost a couple of cajun thunders in a tree and on some rip rap. I was going to come back at high tide to retrieve them, but when I got back, they were gone. Here is a picture of my rig,

if you see it anywhere, please help me recover it, NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!

LOL, If I saw those hanging in a tree, I’d grab them too!

I don’t see a tree or riprap in the picture. Finders keepers:stuck_out_tongue:

Reminds me of that guy with the castnet, or is that what this is about, lol.

Might be the same guy that stole millacd’s cast net.:wink:

There sure is a rash of thievery going around! I probably had dozens of them “stolen” over the years, lol. I also will admit to “stealing” a few over the years, but I didn’t realize it was stealing. I saw where someone misplaced about a dozen of them on the old dock in Nowell creek one time.

No need to make fun of the situation, we’ve all made boneheaded moves before. He left the cast net and gambled that it would still be there in a few hours and lost the bet. No big-ey. You live and learn is all.

Your friends backed out at the last minute leaving me charterless on one of the last Saturdays of the year. Sorry about your tackle.

Wish someone would steal my lawn mower:wink:

Easy… Drive it in the creek at high tide. Then come back at low tide. HAHA !!! That sucker will be gone… Seems to work for everything else.

Is this for real? Those aren’t stolen, (or styling either:smiley:) they were just picked up by somebody smarter than you. Sort of like that stolen cast nest. Most of my popping corks I’ve collected, not bought, from people who leave them stuck in oysters and trees. Do you really expect to leave tackle hanging on a tree indefinitely until you decide to come back and get it and then call it stolen when it’s gone:question:

I can’t remember the last cork I bought

Found 3 in the last 2 days in Folly. I consider it cleaning up, not stealing.

I think I’m going to be sick…I saw it somewhere just the otherday and now I can’t remember where to save my life…

Have you checked the local…prawn…shops…hahahahaha

Does it look anything like this! If it does, I haven’t seen it:imp:

It was a mangled mess when I found it…I didn’t want to be the one to tell you…but your bait… it was DOA…

ok, that’s enough out of me. I think everyone can agree that it does suck losing something but when you leave it even for a minute things go “missing”. Intentional stealing or not, it doesn’t matter how it got gone if you’re the one missing it.

I was at a fireworks show in Daytona and a bum tells me “on your feet lose your seat” and sits down. I have to give it to him though, he was right.

Did you leave a note in a bottle nearby saying that you were coming back for it at high tide. If not, you are SOL.
