Weston; The lock is covered with some sort of like a spray on Rinoliner stuff. Believe me, it’s not plastic! It’s a heavy duty mother! And there is no hasp like a Master Lock or anything you could get bolt cutters on.

Weston; Maybe I should have said shackle! The shackle is the U shaped part on a pad lock that goes through the hole on the top of the ball hitch latch and snaps into the lock body! That’s what you cut with bolt cutters. The Gorilla Lock has no exposed shackle to cut.
PS; The lock can’t be used while the boat is hooked up the the truck trailor hitch! That is because it fits up inside the ball receptical and locks inside of it, and covers the outside like a shield.

Never really thought about it, but that would be one crappy end to a
fishing/boating day to pull up to the landing to find your trailer gone. You recovering your trailer and prosecuting the thief is the only positive thing out of the whole mess.

Not old age, middle age. I wouldn’t concider old age until around 90 or so. Last I knew Maturity and real responsibilty does come with age. If I don’t assume too much I believe that Sells would have done something that if caught could have gotten him into a lot of trouble over a piece of garbage thief in his younger and less mature days.
Kind of like as I look out the window and watch the rain, I few years ago I would have been walking out in it. Now I’m mature enough to know not to unless I really need to ,as my responsibilities to my family are to stay healthy to bring in a steady income.
