STOLEN YAMAHAS

Just wanted as many people as possible to be aware of the following stolen Yamaha outboards:

Stolen Outboard Motors: Beaufort
Six (6) new Yamaha 350, 4 stroke outboard motors, grey in color, were
removed from three boats. The full instrument panels, including all
wiring, were also removed from the three boats.

The outboard motors are estimated to weigh about 800 lbs. each and
are valued at $18,500 each. The six outboard motors have been entered
into NCIC and the serial numbers are: 1000419, 1000021,
1000849, 1000586, 6AWU1001922 and 6AXU1001060.
It appears that some type of work truck, possibly more than one, was
used to haul the outboard motors away. It is believed that at least one
of the work trucks may have been stolen.
If you have had a similar theft of outboard motors or have any information about a stolen work
truck belonging to a cabinet maker, please contact Investigator Wendy Conant at 843-842-4111
x260 or Beaufort County Dispatch at 843-524-2777.

from where?

I’m now at www.teamcharlestonmarine.com

Someone knew what they were doing to strip all the wiring and panels as well. Inside job? Most likely they are being transported down to Miami to be shipped to C. or S. America.
