Headed 90 degrees for 45 miles in the slop. The donkey’s were hungry unfortunately. Had fish all day, just had to weed through the burro’s. Saw some blackfin busting bait in 100’ thought we might get lucky with some light flouro and live cigars, but no go. Tons of bait and sabiki’d up the smallest b-liners(3-4") I’ve ever seen. Don’t know if all the bait we marked were them, but the fish we caught did not spit up the usual minnows, any divers ever see huge clouds of baby b-liners? Fished a few spots and came back with a decent catch. The donkeys wore us down after a while, but the rods were bent most of the day.
