Got a message on the super secret PM from the dive master, pogies were not going to do it, I was told. Phin says you can’t catch gags on pogies. After much deliberation, I did as I was told and loaded the baitwell with goldfish. Running south as planned was not comfortable so I headed to the state record cobia spot to get Bad Apple his first of the year, it was dead. I made the call to continue East for a bit more. I anchored up on a rock in 90’ and it was on.

-22 Grouper(20#,19#,17#)
-2 ARS
-1 cobia
-many limits of bsb’s
-the usual others

Not bad for 2 people fishing from 10-2. Thanks again SkinneeJ.

Interesting… Glad Phin forgot to tell atleat four gags not to eat the pogies. Monday they chewed nicely on them, but I don’t have pictures to prove it.

Saw atleast 5 other mixed with the bo-bo’s around the area. Oddly enough we did not catch one(bo-bo) all day even though they followed every fish to the boat.
