Took a buddy and tackle rep fishing last week along with my new first mate(son). Bumped out as far as 130’. Fished the new Black Hole line and continue to put the miles on the new Stella’s. At over $1000 each, they aren’t cheap, but they are so far superior to anything else it isn’t even close.
We found the fish willing to chew everywhere and we ran the gammut from chicken rigs with squid to bucktails and jigs and vermillion on drift rigs. The usual suspects were plentiful as well as a few surprises. The ocean was as good as it gets.
