Plan in place. 50 miles south in beautiful ocean, a few snapper. Move off to the Triple Ledge(another 30 miles east this time). The wind goes from 5-10 to 15 steady out of the North. Seas build to 3-4’ at 5 sec… Since our third spot was 25 miles due north we had to bail on the plan and fish where we were. To rough to anchor and the fish we needed weren’t there. We did have an awesome day otherwise. Huge b-liners, a 5.1# BSB, triggers, and some other stuff. The big problem was the donkeys, they were eating everything. Cut bait, sabikis, liveys b-liners coming off the bottom, EVERYTHING. We made the best of it knowing fairly early we were out of it and brought home a nice box of fish. Just not weighable. Probably 15#'s of ARS total. It laid off around 6PM, but the damage was done.
