I had this sappy sentimental story written while Photobucket uploaded my pics. It got deleted when I went to grab the first few photos. Now, no story, just pics. All on fly, jigs and topwater over 2 days with some good friends here in South Carolina. Video coming soon.

What kind of structure is that in picture 3? Are there any offshore structures down to the south in SC? I was unaware of anything like that.

Funny you say that. I skinned 4 jigs for Sunday. The first 3 never made it to the bottom, no kidding. Each one was eaten by a toothy critter before it got a chance. The one in the pic was skinned in the dark in my garage the next AM for Monday. Sadly, it did not last long after that picture either…

No video of the hoo. Took the camera out just after it.
You are correct though. Aneil and I were planning a long range trip to target big wahoo on casting irons on the ride out that day. After he gaffed it I said, " Well we don’t need to do that trip anymore!"
That fish saved me about $5k. Hard to tell from the pics but the fish is a bit over #70.

Things have changed over the last few years in my mind as to what it’s all about, to me anyway. I just love the time on the water with good friends.
