STONER(the 13th.)

Eeeery day out there. Made a very late start, 1:15PM. PJ and On the Mark made the trip. Never let off the throttles on the way out, 50 MPH from the fuel dock to R-7, could have gone faster if my little boat could. Fastest ride out ever for me. The water in 100’ has warmed about 7 degrees and the fish responded. The snapper bite was “almost” on. Our baits were a bit big and they only wanted live ones. Made smaller bait and the fish disappeared, figures. Only brought home enough BSB and b-liners for a few meals. The other usuals were caught as well. Hit the dock at 9:30 after a 40 mph return trip in the dark, still just as slick.

The ride out:

Great sunset picture there. It was nice up here, but no that nice!
