Got up and looked outside at 7:15 and it looked good. Checked the radar for a confirmation and was dressed, loaded and at the ramp by 8:10. Water temp was 50-52 degrees. Only got rain on a little and with the light winds it was comfortable enough for the sand gnats to say hello. Fished 5 locations and saw fish at each one, but all spooked easily and finicky. Caught 4 fish from 19-26" between two spots all on frozen shrimp under a float. Lost another early in the day on a Zman. Saw a bunch of dolphin in the river. Some mullet and what possibly was some small shrimp popping on the surface.
