Decided to hit some new water near the Main rd bridge in the am. Not much going on except for a few trout (had to work hard for those) decided to head back south to some more familiar waters and got into them pretty thick. Ended up with 20+ reds, mostly slot fish with a few 25"s mixed in, and 20+ trout as well. Trout bite has been slow for me compared to fall (and the other recent reports I read on here) are you guys finding them in similar areas as a few months ago or have they moved significantly? all fish were caught on baitfish colored grubs, DOA, and natural blue tricks worms.
Trout has been slow for me until recently. Admittedly I have not fished very hard for them until recently. I look for current breaks, large back eddies and, and hard sandy bottom adjacent to deeper water.

The trout are definitely more concentrated in specific areas which makes them harder to find. Also, they will be here today, then way down there tomorrow. Covering a lot of water with the trolling motor is the only way I have been able to find the fish which have seemed to be in different spots every day.
